About the ODU MINI-SNAP Series B Straight Plug
This ODU MINI-SNAP Series connector is a straight cable plug in shell size 0, built around the push-pull latching principle that ODU uses across the MINI-SNAP family. The plug is wired with nine contacts in the pin (male) arrangement, each contact 0.5 mm in diameter, and each terminated in a solder cup of 0.4 mm termination diameter sized for AWG 28 conductor. Nominal current per contact is 4 A and the specified test voltage is 0.6 kV AC. Series B is ODU’s sealed metal-shell variant, rated to IP68 in the mated condition, with the coding groove and shell profile that prevent cross-mating between different keyings. Locking and release are by axial push-pull on the outer sleeve, which lets the connector be mated and separated one-handed in a confined harness run without tooling.
