About the Thomas & Betts Cable Ties, 91.95
These are miniature self-locking cable ties moulded in polyamide 6.6, measuring 91.95 mm long by 2.29 mm wide and supplied in packs of 1000. The strap is threaded through the integral head, pulled to tension around the bundle and held by the pawl, with the tail cut off flush. At 2.29 mm wide and just under 92 mm long, this is a small-format tie intended for light bundles and short closures rather than heavy trunking work — the usable bundle diameter is limited by the strap length, so it is worth checking bundle size against the tie before standardising on it. These Thomas amp Betts cable management ties are supplied in green, which is normally chosen for colour-coding: separating one circuit group, service or system from another within the same enclosure so that technicians can identify a run visually during maintenance. Packs of 1000 suit production and repeat-installation use rather than one-off repairs.
