About the JST GHR-05V-S Connector Housing, 5-Posit Connector
The JST GHR-05V-S Housing connector is the five-circuit crimp housing from the JST GH series, a 1.25 mm pitch wire-to-board range with a locking feature that retains the housing on its header until it is deliberately released. Contacts are crimped onto the conductor and then inserted into the housing, so a harness can be repaired one circuit at a time rather than replaced whole. The GH series is rated at 1 A AC/DC using 26 AWG conductors and 50 V AC/DC, with a withstanding voltage of 500 V AC for one minute and insulation resistance of at least 100 megohms. Applicable conductors run from 30 AWG to 26 AWG, equivalent to 0.05 to 0.13 square millimetres, with an insulation outside diameter of 0.76 to 1.0 mm. The series operating temperature range is minus 40 degrees C to plus 105 degrees C. Crimp contacts and the mating header are separate part numbers.
