About the RF316-02RP1-07BJ1-0100 RF Cable, MCX-SMB 100mm
The RF316-02RP1-07BJ1-0100 RF cable assembly is a terminated coaxial jumper. It carries an MCX right-angle plug at one end and an SMB5 straight jack at the other, over a finished length of 100 mm. The right-angle MCX end lets the cable leave the board or module connector parallel to the panel instead of standing proud of it, which is the usual reason for choosing that body style in a shallow enclosure. MCX and SMB are both snap-on, push-fit interfaces rather than threaded ones, so the assembly mates and parts without tooling and without torque control — convenient for build and rework, and the reason these interfaces are common on internal links rather than on external bulkheads.
