Typical applications
Two-leg transition boots are installed where a harness branches into two runs and the split has to be sealed and mechanically supported, on airframe, vehicle and shelter looms and at connector backshell transitions. The adhesive coating makes them suited to installations exposed to moisture, washdown, fluids or salt-laden air, where a plain shrink sleeve would not seal against the cable jacket. They are consumed one per breakout during harness build and during repair after a loom has been cut back.
