The TV06ZN1726PF472 circular connector plug carries 26 positions fitted with male (pin) gold-plated crimp contacts. Crimp contacts are terminated to the conductors with a controlled-cycle tool and then inserted into the insert from the rear, where they are retained by the insert itself; the same tooling allows a contact to be extracted and replaced, so a 26-way harness can be repaired circuit by circuit instead of being scrapped.
