About the XT60 Female Battery Power Connector, 2-P Soldering
This XT60 Female Battery Power Connector 2-Pin is the female (socket) half of the XT60 DC power connector pattern, the de facto standard battery connector across much of the UAV and RC world. Convention places the female connector on the battery pack itself, because its recessed sockets shield the live contacts from accidental shorting when the pack is disconnected. The connector carries two gold-plated socket contacts in a keyed nylon shell that only mates one way, enforcing correct polarity, and its solder-bucket terminations take heavy-gauge flexible wire, commonly up to 12 AWG. The XT60 pattern is rated in the 60 A continuous class, with the stiff nylon housing providing a snug fit that holds under vibration. The mating male connector is listed separately.
